Setbuild was established in 1988 with its specialisation being the construction of sets for the film and television industry, including television commercials, series and film. This scope quickly transcended into the design and construction for launches, events and exhibitions as existing clientele began to shift their advertising strategy to a more direct approach to marketing as a whole.

With its roots established in the creative realm of television, Setbuild became preferred by exhibition clients looking for originality and flexibility in the marketing mix. This was an innate transition and and an exciting challenge as Setbuild together with its clients, came up with a unique style relating to continuity and effectiveness across the advertising spectrum. Throughout this process, Setbuild maintained its ethos of personalised attention that it had become renowned for. This winning formula soon progressed into a string of awards at various exhibitions.
